Your data. Your ideas.
Your ICP.
Last updated: March 2026
The short version: everything you share with KnoWho belongs to you. We use your session data only to make KnoWho better — nothing else.
What you own
Your inputs, your conversation, and your ICP are your intellectual property. KnoWho does not claim any ownership over the ideas, business concepts, or customer profiles you develop through our tool.
What we collect and store
When you use KnoWho, we store the following:
- The conversation transcript from your session
- The ICP we generate together
- Any context you provide upfront (URLs, documents, notes)
- Ratings and feedback you leave on your ICPs
- Basic account information if you create a Founder Pass
We store this in our own secure database. It is not shared with or accessible by any third-party service in a form that identifies you or your idea.
How we use your data
Your session data — conversations, ICPs, inputs, and ratings — is used only by KnoWho staff and affiliates to understand how the tool is performing and to improve the quality of future conversations and outputs. That's it.
We do not sell your data. We do not license it. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with partners, investors, or any other third parties.
AI processing
KnoWho uses an AI model to power its conversations. Your inputs and conversation are processed by that model in real time to generate responses and your ICP. Your conversation data is not used to train any AI model by our AI provider — this is governed by their commercial API terms, and conversation data is automatically deleted from their systems within days of your session.
KnoWho staff may separately review session outputs and ICPs to evaluate quality and improve the tool's performance. This is a human review process, not model training.
Data retention
We keep your saved ICPs and session history for as long as your account is active, so you can revisit, re-download, and build on your work over time. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our systems.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your data at any time. If you have questions about what we store or how it's used, reach out to us directly.
